Everything Albrat does, and nothing it does not

For participants

Skills + personality matching

Skills + personality matching

Compatibility is scored on two axes: what you can build, and how you work with people. Personality carries real weight. It is not a tiebreaker.

Technical overlap tells you whether a team can cover the work. Personality tells you whether it will survive the third night of the build sprint. Albrat weighs both, and leans on the personality signal when two candidates look identical on paper.

Mini-IPIP personality test

Mini-IPIP personality test

Twenty questions, about three minutes, scored on the Big Five. A published, validated short form, not a quiz we invented.

The Mini-IPIP measures Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism and Openness with four items each, half of them reverse-scored. Your trait profile is yours: teammates see fit, never raw scores.

Explainable matches

Explainable matches

Every suggestion comes with its reasoning: which skills overlap, which traits align, which ones usefully complement yours.

A score with no explanation is a horoscope. Each match card breaks down shared skills, complementary skills, and the personality dimensions driving the fit, so you can disagree with it.

QR check-in unlocks the event

QR check-in unlocks the event

Scan at registration and the attendee pool opens. Only people physically at the event can appear in your shortlist.

The same QR flow also works as an entry path for people who never received an invite. Scan the poster, land in profile creation, join the pool.

A shortlist, not a feed

A shortlist, not a feed

You get 5% of the room, minimum three people, with chatrooms already open. Small enough that you actually talk to all of them.

Endless browsing is what kills networking apps at events. A short, high-confidence list respects the fact that you have 48 hours and an MVP to ship.

Pulse feedback during the build

Pulse feedback during the build

Short check-ins across the programme show how collaboration is trending while there is still time to change something.

Three or four questions, thirty seconds. Teams see their own trend line; organisers see cohort-level patterns and can send a mentor in early.

Credibility score

Credibility score

Connections made, cohorts finished and feedback exchanged build a visible score that travels with you to the next batch.

Being a reliable teammate is currently invisible outside the room you did it in. Credibility makes that track record portable, which matters when the next programme is picking who gets in.

Points and badges

Points and badges

Light gamification at the moment you connect and again after the event closes. Enough to nudge, not enough to farm.

Points land when you make a connection and again after demo day, once feedback comes in. The exact economy is still being tuned.

For organisers

The organiser side is what makes the participant side work: who is invited, when the matching round runs, and how the batch is holding up between kickoff and demo day.

Invite your cohort

Invite your cohort

Upload the batch list and Albrat sends the invites, tracks profile completion and chases the stragglers before kickoff.

Event QR codes

Printable codes for badges, banners and the welcome deck. One scan handles both check-in and sign-up.

Aggregate pulse-survey signals across every team, so you know which ones need your mentor network before they ask.

Privacy

What other people can and cannot see

  • Visible to matches: your name, photo, one-line intro, skills, credibility score and the plain-language reasons you were matched.
  • Never visible: your raw Big Five scores, your individual answers to any question, and the feedback you give about teammates.
  • Visible to organisers: attendance, profile completion, and pulse-survey results aggregated across teams, never one person's numbers.

Your next team is already in the room.

Create a profile, take the three-minute personality test, and see who you would build best with.
